This allegedly new cereal is a variation of the original Shreddies, with the cereal cut in diamond shapes rather than squares. At most grocery stores here, a 550g box costs $5.99. I have never owned a box of Diamond Shreddies, but I have had considerable experience with its predecessor, the original plain Shreddies, which is actually very much the same in flavour, and, as one will find out, appearance.
Pros:
-The cereal still has all the quality of the company's previous food products.
Cons:
-"They're still Shreddies; a 45-degree turn will fool nobody."
-This point makes the cereal feel cheap, like a Chrysler 'K-Car'. It is reliable, but rather bland.
Overall Rating: 4/10
For a supposedly new cereal, they hype the small 45-degree turn too much to make it a quality cereal. It still tastes fine, though. If the idea was not so ridiculous, or if the cereal was actually diamond-shaped (you can see that the Diamond Shreddies are actually square, even in the commercials), it could have scored 9.
Edit: Yes, this was a pointless thread, come to think of it... I'm sick of myself.
