Certain Vehicles cant have Custom Plate Decals?

Im searching this forum and the internet in general and wondering why the DB11 wont let me put a custom plate decal over it. When I go to the Other Tab, Rear, the plate area is not verified in Blue. Are some cars just like this or am I missing something?
 
The licence plates on the DB11, as well as the pillars and sides of the roof, are mapped to the rear wing. Just don't ask why.

The Fiat 500 is the same!
 
Thanks. Got the plate to work on the back. It wouldnt stick to the front, image kept warping crazy and wouldnt fit the front plate so I gave up.
 
Use 'align with camera' and move round until you square on with the plate 👍
