Chappe et Gessalin (CG) was a French automobile maker founded in 1946 which commenced manufacturing complete cars in Brie-Comte-Robert, Seine-et Marne in 1957. Production ceased in 1974.

CG began by producing fiberglass bodies for DB and Alpine. It later produced cars similar to the Alpine but powered by Simca engines. The last racing CG, the CG-MC, was designed by Matra.

Powertrain: 1294 cc , Inline-4 , dual Weber carburetors , 95 hp / 6400 rpm , 116 Nm / 4560 rpm , 4-speed manual

Dimensions: Length 3960 mm , Width 1540 mm , Height 1205 mm , Weight 735 kg

Performance: Top speed 185 km/h , 0-100 km/h 8,4 sec

That must explain why the front looks just like an Alpine A110.

Yes it's looks more and less like an A110 or A108 :P
