Chain Letter Warning

There's a chain letter going around that says to celebrate the PS3's 4th birthday they're handing out $40. Don't believe it.

1. PS3 turned 4 in November of 2010. It's 2011 now, so the system is headed towards the 5 year mark.

2. It doesn't actually say Sony's providing the funds

3. I don't know of any company that would celebrate their 4th birthday like that. Especially a multi-billion dollar corporation like Sony.
 
There are dozens of messages like this, man. It's common sense not to believe them.
 
I've gotten this message from like 5 different people.
If Sony wanted to give us $40, why wouldn't they just tell us themselves?
Obviously this is fake.
 
I delete anyone who sends me one.... Such naive dummies.

I responded to the last one I got: "Well, did it work?"
