There should also be an option to save progress in the middle of the championship (between races) but re-entering the League/Championship will put you back into the series where you left off. Rewards can be earned after each race (the usual) and then a bonus after completing the championship that would be credits and a one-time gift car reward as a champion (N500+ or 125,000-credit+ car for a non-racecar series and a Gr_ car or 5M+-credit car for a racecar series).
