Change PSN ID?

Hey all.

Quick question. If I change my PSN ID, will it affect my GT7 progress or anything?
Note: I'm referring to my actual PSN ID....not the GT7 nickname.
I looked at the list of games Sony has published that won't be affected, but GT7 isn't on it.

The list was published three years ago, before GT7 was published.

All of the games that have issues with a PSNID change are early PS3-era titles. Games published for PlayStation devices have had to support PSNID changes since October 2018, to my recollection. GT7 supports it just fine.

I made the change here at work. When I log on tonight, I'll know if everything is good. Will post back here and let you know.
 
Happy to say that the change of PSN name went fine. No problems at all. Progress and trophies are all still there. This is on PS5.
