This missing feature bothered me a little ever since GT4.... methinks if you slap a ginormous turbo on your car, this would negatively affect your weight...but it's not implemented in-game. The Real Driving Simulator, they say...

The fuel tank does empty through consumption, lap times are an empirical evidence this. Run some laps, use some fuel; then pit for tires only.

Adding a nitro kit must add some weight to the car too...but most important is the fuel consumption = weight reduction feature.

Yes, but it has to be implemented "officially"...and the ability to choose how much fuel do you want to start with.
