I am currently looking into the Logitech DFP, and I'm also interested in a cockpit, but I'm not willing to pay over $150 US for one. Do any of you have any suggestions for the best cost/quality value of a GT4 cockpit?

Well, if you're a real cheapass, the cheapest way would probably be to build something yourself. 👍

If you wanna buy a table or a stand, look around in this part of the forum, there are a couple of threads with links to all kinds of solutions for wheel stands.
But I really doubt you'll find something good under 100$.

edit: Don't know if you saw it yet, but a good place to start looking would be the "cockpit index" thread at the top of the page.

When I first got my DFP, I used my old computer desk, and I paid nothing. 👍

Your other best bet is to build it yourself, like Kay-tek said, or you buy something cheap. How much are you willing to spend?

Sorry to say but for that price...you're NOT going to find a 'cockpit' but rather more a 'stand' that will only accommodate wheel/pedals and you'll have to supply the 'place to sit'...

Here's the only one that I know of that falls under your price!

There are few other 'stands' out there...but they're more then your budget calls for and are mostly from companies out side the U.S.,with the one exception
(That I know of at least) being the "Game Frame" from a company called "Trinity-Racing" (BRD Distributor) which can be seen by clicking here but again, it's over your budget by $80..

So, you're better off just building something that will accommodate your wheel/pedal setup for the time being... and the link above posted by poopsht above is a good starting point....as is this link here

ok look, i was at home depot last night to buy wood to build myself a cockpit. I got several 8 foot 2x4s, 1x4s, and other pieces of wood as well as a gallon of paint and a brush. after im done the cockpit is going to look similar to the "my quality racing cockpit" thread. All of the items i bought came up to under $50. my point is that if you buy the parts and spend a weekend on building, you can achieve a great looking cockpit for not so much money :)
