Changing online ID name

Hi

I'm sorry if this is a repost, I've tried searching but couldn't find anything except the fact that apparantly it is possible to change your online username. I'm talking about the name you'll see in the rankinglist etc.

Does anyone know where/how I can change that ?

You need to create a new user from the ps3 xmb
Then you can either link it to another account or make it a primary one

ok I made a new account and linked it to my normal one but It wont let me play GT5P? says it can not be acssesed from this account?
 
Just create a new account...go to yahoo create an account there for email purpose. Create another account on PS3 using your new email account you just created, then copy your GT5:P save files from your old account to the new one. Its easy. If I can do it...I'm sure you can cuz I'm computer stuipd...lol. Happy racing!

Do you have the Blu-ray version, or did you download the game from PSN? I don't believe that what you are trying will work if the game was downloaded from PSN, but I may be wrong.

Edit: I knew that I had seen something about the downloaded version:
