Hi all, I recently purchased a used Playseat with g27 wheel. It's the #20 Joey Logano version. Although I'm not a fan of orange or nascar (no offense to nascar fans) I couldn't pass up the great deal locally for this setup.
Now my question is, has anyone ever used any dye or paint to change the color of your playseat? If you have any information regarding your research or experiment please share.
I understand that the playseat is not real leather but a vinyl synthetic leather. I've watched videos of people using brands such as dupli-color or VHT to change the color of seats and interior parts. I went to a specialty detail store locally and found the SEM line. From the price and information that I've found this seems to be a quality brand.
I've purchased a dark red and will be changing the orange to red.
