Howzit guys,

I have searched, without success...

I wanna know when to change to what tires when it starts to rain?

Doing Le Mans 24hr race and it started to rain just as I resumed from the pits... So I went onto inters, but a lap later they were shredded and they only started working properly around 30% saturation. Added to this is the fact that the AI cars absolutely FLY when it starts raining, making me assume that they stay on slicks for longer...

So, can anyone give me a guideline as to when to change to what tires... So like 0-30% Slicks 30-60% inters and 60+ full wets or what?

Thanks in advance...

Hi there,
Well I'm sure alot of people have the same problem and this Is my advice
0-30 keep the slicks on but no later because it get slippry
30-50 or 55 use inters they don't last as long it seems but are game changers
60-100 rain of course I usually brake twice as long and don't use the throttle as much as if it we dry or at 15

I only onced did the 24 hour race when it was raining with my 787B (Recreate the 91 win, Pl0x.)

I can tell you this, though. I found it useful to slap on the wet tires when saturation get's to about fifty-hundred. You'll still get some wheel spin, but take it easy. Keep a steady driving habit, pitting pattern, and you'll get your win. :D

Pretty much what the first guy said. Instead of using Inters at about 30% use the full on rain tires. they will provide more grip on the 30%.

I figured 30% was the number, but straight to full rains? you tested this?

Ya i have. at 30% there is enough water down to switch. i switched after i hit 30%, i switched and the tires wore after 8 laps. for me it works however i don't know how it will work for some other people. Try at own risk

OK Cool, I have a 1 lap lead over 2nd place in my current 24hr, so when the rain comes, I will wait till 30% and go to full wets... :D

Thanks dude
