Changing to a GTP tag?

Hi,

Don't post a lot, but I lurk enough. Had a few races with some GTP guys over the last few days, and would like to change my PSN display name to show the same.

How do I do this? Do I have to make a new account? And if so, what happens to my GT5 save data? Bit lost about how to do it, some help would be cool!

Reading those is a bit overwhelming :O. I may do the submission thing at some point though. (When it is actually available to do) :).
 
So is there no way to do it other than to create a totally new account, and just transfer over cars you'd want to use? ie. Save game can't be moved across?

Yes you have to create a new PSN acount.

At the moment there is no way to copy yur savegame over, so you will have to gift cars back and forth from each acount.

Also be aware there is a glitch where people have lost their cars when gifting them. Several people have reported this.

The positive news is that PD has anounced that in a patch later this month they will make a way to make a backup of the savefile.

If it is posibel to use the backup with another account no one knows yet, but it could be, or at least we can hope that they will fix the glitch so that people dont lose their expensive cars when gifting them.
