Changing wheels on dirt/snow tyres

Hi, I've tried searching the forums to no avail, but I'm just wondering whether I can change the rims on a car with dirt/snow tyres on them. I have custom wheels on my car, but once I fit dirt/snow tyres to them, they go to that white rally style wheel.

Any help?

No, if you drive it with snow/dirt tyres on, the rims will be the white rally style

which is lame because i think u could change them in a previous one

instead of the fugly rally/snow ones we get now
