EDIT: Nevermind, it changed last night. I had to ring and remind them first though...
So I got my new phone on Monday. I submitted my PAC number to O2, as I am transferring from Tesco Mobile to O2, but wish to keep my number.
I was under the impression O2 were going to switch the number over on my new simcard, but I tested by ringing earlier and the call came in on my old phone and simcard. It went to O2 voicemail though
which means it's already switched right?
Do I use the old simcard or the new? It clearly states on O2's website "Watch out for an error message on your screen
When the transfer starts, you'll see an error message similar to 'sim card registration failed'. At this point, put your new O2 sim into your mobile. "
Is it usual to have to use your old simcard (Which still has the old network branding on it and all the Tesco Mobile numbers stored permenantly in it) or do they always transfer it to a new one?
I'm very confused. They told me the transfer would be today.
