Today I noticed this incredibly valuable historic racing car just in to the used car lot. It was at level 23, with 7384km. Spec sheet quoted 679hp and 821 kg.

Anybody hoping to steal this rocket ship for a paltry million like it was in GT4 had better get over it, and their minds wrapped around the idea of winning the Historic gold some other way. I used a Toyota 7 in both A-spec and B-spec, and it took some work.

They seem to actually be worth squat on GTplanet though, there B day glitched so everyone has em in multiples.
 
I have this.

It takes a while to get going but once the revs are up it's extremely fast. I won the Historic Cup, B-Spec fairly easily with this. Cote D'Azur I won with ease, only needed to set the gear ratio low. Deep Forest however was a bit harder, I needed to have the Toyota behind me in order to win, and I only won by 0.1 seconds too. :S

It is a great car though, one of my favorite to drive. One other note, my driver who completed these races was level 12... That may have had an effect.. :)

The 2J is rarer than the 2D. The 2D is found in stackloads... :)
 
Yeah the price of this gem is a bit off putting. I dont know If I could justify spending all that cash.

I just did a calculation on how long it would take grinding daytona to get the credits. It would take grinding at daytona 147.41 times, taking 12.28 hours, sheesh.

No you can get both, I've had three 2J's and three 2D's. I actually had my 2J's way before my 2D's.
 
As has been already said. They're a "glitch" car AND they're standard. Add in the fact that they can't be sold for cash and you can pick them up for a pretty reasonable price.

I traded mine for a modded LFA after I was done with it. I gave a Ferrari for it so it was essentially a "free" rental for me.
