Chaparral 2J, right in GT6, wrong in GT7

The 2J in GT7 is a 5-speed, the actual car had a 3-speed semi-automatic transmission. The car in GT6 was a 3-speed, I wonder why they didn't get it right in GT7?

Looks like a 3 speed gearbox to me.

I stand corrected, sir! I went straight to the Fully Customizable Racing Transmission and assumed it would be limited to just three gears. Thank you for straightening that out!
