Can someone PLEASE share a Chaparral 2J. I need it to see if my stupid B-Spec driver can win the Historic Racing Car Cup in Côte d' Azur. I'M BEGGING YOU PLEASE FOR GOD SAKE!!!

I can't win that darn race with my level 22 Bob and my Toyota 7 for some reason. Been close but can't finish. Any tips? Is the Chapparal the way to go? Is there something I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

I think this is not the forum for it, but try search the Q&A section on historic and B spec and toyota 7, there a re lot of topics on this and quite a lot of good answers.

The bobs are rubbish, mine was too . 2J is a surefire way to win it.

Its was the way to for me my driver won them all first go apart from Monaco 3 gos at that one as he kept getting excited coming out of the tunnel and hitting the barrier trying to overtake the other Chapparal lol.

Okay I finally figured it out. I found a tune and used that...can't remember the link and I'm not sure it was the reason actually but I just thought I'd mention it.

I had the same problem as everyone else, hitting the barrier after the tunnel into the chicane. Bob does that when he's all hot and bothered and you've upped his pace. If you leave him alone at the beginning of the race he'll usually rapidly move into second or third, passing guys on his own. After that, increase his pace heading onto the main straight, but after the esses (or he might dummy himself into that barrier too) and then down pace as you enter the tunnel. Sometimes I doubled down the pace when he got a little hot as I hit hit the crest of the hill for the left hander and then again heading into the tunnel and then back up again on the main straight.

He'll still wipe out once in a while but do this a couple of times and he'll win eventually.

That's the setup I used for the Toyota 7 to win with. Thanks Red Five but as I said, I think the up and down pace had a lot to do with it. The car is fast and Bob wants to win with it, you just have to keep him off the wall and he'll figure it out.
