2j is 1970 mate. The 2D is '67

The 2D is 1967. The 2J is 1970.

I have both. the 2D starts very slow but it can roll when it gets going.. the 2J is just plain fast

Not if your name is Bob. It's the only way to win it without killing yourself looking at how dumb your driver is.

I reccomend trading in this forums. This car has also been affected by the B-Day glitch and is now considerably cheap. Look for some offers around this forums, I got mine for a Sauber C9 (And got the Sauber for a McLaren F1) and won the Historic cup with it today.

Not true. The 2J is NOT needed to win the Historic Series in either A-Spec or B-Spec.

Get a 2J with a high Rpm turbo for guaranteed results.

I won the Monaco Historic race at the first attempt in both A-Spec & B-Spec using the Toyota 7. Fully tuned with the right setup its an awesome car.

i got the 66 jag from the indy endo win, its got the power to win, but i had a james may moment on the last lap of deep forest and will do it when i go back on gt5

Turn 10, the left-hand kink at the Nouvelle Chicane at the bottom of the hill from the tunnel? Mine ate the same spot five times in one race. Every time he'd start gaining positions, he gives them up and then some by trying to cut a corner that can't be cut due to armco. There's no commands that a player can give Bob to tell him to stop cutting the chicane and consequently eating armco, and it made no difference whether I ran him hot, cold, or in the middle.

Sounds like you had better luck than some. At least for some of us, Bob screws it up no matter what you give him and no matter how it's tuned.

That corner and the one before the Start/Finish straight tended to draw Bob like a magnet. I had to use the 2J for that race (used 330 P4 for A spec and B spec Deep Forest). I evnntually gave Bob no commands at all when he won the race, and he somehow managed to avoid the barriers.

The cars in this game cost too much. How much time would you have to invest to earn 14M Credits? This is a game not some second job.

I just spent 5M Credits on a FGT that I don't really want but I needed. I only have 3M right now. When am I ever going to get 20M credits?

Moreover, there are many super expensive cars that I would like to "own." I wouldn't mind if there was some challenge I had to overcome to own these cars but being forced to put in hours of time grinding credits.

Rant over. I just want some of those beautiful classic race cars.

IF your Bob is spinning or crashing at certain points on the track ,then tell him to pace down as he approaches until he manages to take the bend correctly , once he has done this he will do it on his own (Although the GT5 manuel does say some Bobs don't listen,so if yours does not then you will need to use a different Bob for that race)

My bob won both races using 69 Camaro RM.
