Charity Needed. Lost GT5 Data.

hi GT5 community, my old 60 gig breathed its last breaths and with it, it took hundreds of hours of data.

most importantly, over 1000 unique cars, and time put into license tests as well as a/b spec completion.

im here to ask kindly for car and coupon donations.

any donation would be appreciated, but level 21-24 tickets, year '67 tickets for the old classics like the p340, the Jag, or chapparels would be a godsend. if not any superGT or Nascar would be appreciated as well.

i dont expect anything, but i thought i would atleast reach out and ask. im sure people have abused this community in this way before, but im just trying to get competitive in the online scene again where i would like to be, that being said, any car that would be useful in seasonal events would be nice.

I'm not saying this to be mean, I'm saying 'No' for two reasons;

1) This isn't the place for this, look in the marketplace to see if someone will give you something (they normally will).

2) You haven't been here long enough to be asking anyone for charity. If you were, you would know that you should be backing up your game save to a USB drive.

i've participated in online leagues organized by gtp members several times, and they're the most fun i've had with the game.

forgive me if i dont put a significant amount of time into gtp, but i have invested hundreds of hours online for the GT5 community as a competitive and clean racer.

You're not the only one who's lost everything. I'd help you out, but thanks to a certain dipstick, I lost all my GT data. Good thing I had a backup from a year or so ago, which got me half the stuff back. Needless to say I'm super annoyed. My biggest annoyance is losing my F2007, my 0/0/0 rally cars, all my blue subarus, and the GT:A cars =(
If I get some tickets or stuff that I don't require, I'll be sure to send em your way.

I feel for you. I thought I'd lost my data a couple of days ago when I accidentally switched off the PS3 at the mains during a save. Luckily it recovered eventually but it was a horrible feeling. With all these seasonals recently I've got more credits than I know what to do with so send me FR, tell me what you want from the dealership (within reason) and I'll buy it and gift it to you.
 
This thread makes me want to back up my GT5 data right now. But sure, I think I have a few cars I am willing to give up.
 
Seriously guys, here is advice: Back up ALL thr data from the games you play most or have gotten far in, at least once a week. You never know when something bad will happen =(
I need to start with the F1 seasonals again now... I'm just glad that I still got an F10...

just to add a disclaimer, i had a 60GB, and i backed up my data on an SD card! so when i got my new slim PS3, it doesnt take SD cards. so i went out and bought a USB adapter, and when i tried to use my data, i got a message from GT5XL saying that "you tried to use another users data...." and it wouldnt let me?

In reference to #2. Since when did you become the authority around here to say how long someone has to be a member before they can ask for gifts. Its not up to you to decide that and not sure where you got that idea anyway. Its totally rediculous.

Another day another begging post/scam by a new member! Back up your saves regularly and earn your cars like we had to, I fell for this con once before and won't do it again
