Chat plug-in?

Which specific "plug in"is required to use the chat in this forum?
I am currently part of THIS THREAD and they use the chat feature extensively.

Please Help!

Yep, Java is all you need to use the GTP's chat room. It seems to be working OK for me in Chrome (Beta) on OS X - you may want to check your Java installation to ensure it's up-to-date.
