Pull your head back from your monitor for a second and look around your room. Notice anything? I want you to note that the idea of chat rooms and this section of the GTPlanet forums are sort of....... silly. Yes, silly. We are all forming these micro-scocietys(sp?). Why? I don't know. Would you go down the street to some building for the sole reason to sit in a empty room and talk to a group of other people? No? So why do it on the internet.


I'm not talking about information sharing chats and forums like GTP, but simple ones where people go simply to talk.

Yes indeed, it does seem silly. Whay am I doing it? I don't know.
 
I agree. Typing unecessary mathematical symbols in thread titles is silly, too.

Your right, and we do some stupid things and play stupid games too, I prolly wouldnt play half of those games if it wasnt to try to get the GTP record :D

Because on the Internet I only have to move my wrists whereas I'd have to walk to the building.

I'm in a lazy mood today.
 
Why? Easy - because you're more likely to find people of a common interest here, and to cover off on chatrooms specifically you've got people who are willing to chat and to meet people - two things your group of random people on a street corner might not be appreciative of.

Plus - when I type on the PC at work, it looks like working, even though you and I know better.
