Heey all,

I'm a new member on this forum, as you might see. I hope my english is good enough for you guys to understand, haha.

I just saw there is a chat available for the members of this forum, but as soon as I want to enter, I get error. "Wienish, invalid Nickname or Password."

I've been on an other forum for about 2 years, and banned from there because of some silly reasons. They used a similar chat, but I hope that isn't exactly the problem.

I hope someone can help me out! :)

BTW: I've got another question: why do all posts have to be accepted by moderators instead of posting it immediately?

Not sure on the chat bit.

As for new posts, it is mostly because of the number of redundant threads and posts that newer members tend to make, especially in the GT sections of the forum. More or less, a system to control spam and meaningless threads. Would be complete chaos without.
 
Is it a perm. thing for every member, or do you lose this 'control' if you are member for ... months/years, or such thing?
 
I believe only the first post of a new member has to be approved and then after that you can do whatever you like as long as it is within the rules of the site.

I have posted about 5 posts already, but I still have it. It's certainly not only the first post. But thanks for your help, I think i'll find out by myself haha.
 
Have any of your posts been actually approved and showed up on the forums (other than this Feedback board)? Your posts will not automatically appear until the first one is approved. After that they should not need to go through the approval process. However, all posts you make UNTIL the first one is approved will go into the moderation queue.

Also, the thread stuck at the top of this board will explain your issue with the chat.
