ok, currently i am using a ds2 controller to get my way around the track. late in the year, probably coinciding with my purchase of gt4 @ xmas, i will get a good wheel.

in the mean time i dont wanna go spendin loads of cash.

should i stick with my ds2 or buy one of these... $35 AU

You should either go for it all (Momo Force) or just stick with the DS2...speaking of DS2s, my SECOND controller since GT3 is already squeaky on the X button...:irked:

yeah, any other wheel is out of the question and poinless as i will get the new wheel with gt4
 
so anyhow, i guess what i am asking is, between ds2 and this micro wheel which is best?
 
dammit...what is a DS2???....save your money..then you can buy more crap when GT4 comes out
 
DS2 is the normal dual-shock analog controller... :odd:

because they suck absolute monkey balls, 100 bucks and it steered like a peice of **** and didnt even vibrate :mad: i dont o about the brand new ones though
 
Heh, that's like my Speedster 2 wheel - the column squeaked against the hole it went into, quality for ya, hey? $150 it cost, too. :grumpy:
 
I definitely agree not to get a MadCatz. I had a MadCatz controller before, and it wasn't very reliable. It didn't always work, and it didn't vibrate all the time. I don't know if their steering wheels are like that, though.
 
Stick with the DS2. I wouldnt trust a 35$ steering wheel. Looks dinky, like it will snap after your first turn or sumtin. Im still on the DS2, but when GT4 comes out, Im gonna get myself the new wheel. Just be patient.
 
I hear the new Logitech wheel has 900° of rotation.👍
 
I got a Mad Catz Universal MC2 steering wheel for $50. I think it's a good wheel for the price.
 
ill stick with the good old controller! even though the x botton is screwed and i have to now use both analogs.
 
i got a madcatz2 whatever nutin rong with it the button are bad placing and its viberations juz make noise... dont viperate juzshakes the insides makes terrible noises

i once had a mad catz wheel, it snapped somewhere inside, i was on tokyo r246 i remember on the last hairpin in a polyphony001 i turned a little too sharp, i heard a loud clonking noises from the vibrator packs and a spring twisting too much, after that, it wouldnt turn at all, you turn the wheel left but you still go straigt but thats what you get for £35

Buy the logitech wheel. I like mine alot i got it yesterday and its fun to drift with the 400 NISMO car.
 
lol ok it was like midnight and i was like out cuz i had to get up at 6 that mornin...
anyways ill say that again

I have a madcatz 2 whatever it's called, and it steers just fine, but I can not get the shifting to work I have to use the reverse to shift on manual, and it doesn't viberate, it just shakes the insides and makes this really terrible noise.

better???
i didnt rite about the shifting before because i never really thought about it
