I have had my buttkicker 2 for over a year now and love it. A few months back did some cockpit upgrades and my pedals are no longer attached to my rig, so I have no pedal vibration. I bought a dayton puck a few days ago and attached it to the pedals and just wired right to where the buttkicker 2 tranceducer connects. Works great, now I got feedback in the pedals. So if anyone is looking to add a bit more tacticle this cost me less than $20 shipped. Thought of this months ago, but thought it would never work. Well I can say it works well and doesnt effect the buttkicker performance at all. Its not a ton of vibration, but enough to feel it pretty well.

How much noise is the puck making with you?
They are 2 ohm so how are you powering it, using the BKG2 amp?

Just using the buttkicker amp and its queiter than my buttkicker. Like I said never thought it would work, but works amazingly well.

nice job! good idea to keep in mind :) I wonder if I could jury-rig my powered subwoofer to power both a TT and the sub... hmmmm :)

How do you have it wired? did you use a wire connector to run the 4 speaker wires into the two outputs? you are running both the bkg2 shaker and the puck at the same time with the one amp right? do you notice any more heat than before?

All I did was bought 1 dayton puck extended the wire off of it long enough to get to the back of the amp. Wraped the wires around the trancducer post (twisted really) and stuck the post back in the amp. I ran about 3 hours of racing today with out any issues. Never got hot or sounded like it was being over worked. Im going to keep using it if I have any issues Ill be sure to post them, but so far all is well. Oh, not sure it matters but my amp is set at 40.

Advice

Read your manual/see PDF or email their tech dept on what it recommends regards connecting additional units. Luckily the PUCK while a different brand is also like the BKG2 2ohms. (corrected they are 16 ohms)

You may need to change your wiring for the BKA-130-C amplifer and using dual units.

Many tactile operate at 4ohms not 2ohms.
If mixing products on the same amp be sure to keep to the same impedence guys.

No problem guys still working great. Mr Latte I believe a single puck is 16, 2 pucks 8, 4 is 4 and 8 pucks would be 2 ohms. At least as far as I can see, but I never concerned myself with the ohms.

Actually your right they are 16 ohms a peice thanks for correcting. This isn't good news for you guys though.

I got mixed up as I purchased 8 of them a while ago for testing. I plan to incorporate 4 each side within the seat for additional L/R effects giving 4ohm rating. Using these set to a low volume for minimal effect within the seat cushioning and shoulders. This reduces having tactile hotspots and spreading the effect more in pronounced areas.

Carson79 and myself were discussing things recently and I think he is discovering the thinking behind my own madness that multiple tactile at lower volumes is better than a single unit at a high volume. It offers a more controlled and satisfying effect.

My concern for you guys connecting these to a BK amp is that the pucks are rated to work at much lower watts. They are rated 15 watts RMS/30 watts max which is much less than the BK amp delivers.

I don't recommend mixing these with a BK Gamer on a BK amp but any of you interested should get advice from Buttkicker themselves.

I have a question I have a set of Logitech Z560
http://hothardware.com/Reviews/Logitech-Z560-THX-Certified-41-Speaker-System/
can I set up these Dayton pucks where I would normally run my satellites, and maybe keep my sub running or not any ideas for me

spec
Total power output: 400 watts RMS
- Satellite speaker power output: 212 watts RMS (53w + 53w + 53w + 53w)
- Subwoofer power output: 188 watts RMS
System frequency response 35Hz - 20kHz
Signal To Noise Ratio: 100dB
Maximum SPL (Sound Pressure Level): 114dB

I understand your concerns latte, but you are never gonna put enough watts out of a 4 ohm system to hurt a 16 ohm device. Might not get enough to power it, but your never gonna hurt it.

That's what I was thinking too.

Just an update guys. Everything is still running great. I did a more permanent mount now (had it just zip tied) and the feedback is much better. I have no problems with overdriving the puck at all. If anything Im under working it. I do have the amp set at 40, but turning it up doesnt over work the puck either, just gives ME unwanted vibrations in the buttkicker if set any higher.
