I'm interested in buying a wheel and a wheel stand. My two main concerns are price and space.

I would like to not spend more than $200. I have some wood lying around and I'm capable of building something, such as a wheel stand, but I would like to see if there's anything on the market in my price range.

For wheel and pedals, not looking for anything special. Just something that won't break in two days. It would also have to fit inside that $200 budget.

Space is an issue because the TV is in the living room, so I have about the space for a wheel and pedal set-up as a coffee table.

Edit:
More info:
It would be used for Gran Turismo on the PS3.
I think I should mention I have long legs
I consider myself a mid-range driver - not slow, but far from the fastest. I really dislike delayed inputs. That's the one thing that would rank higher than anything else.

Any advice or experience would be great. Thanks.

P.S. I'm open to used wheels, pedals and stands.

Is this for console, if so Xbox or , you may want to add these details so people can help you out for a wheel.

As for a wheel stand there are a couple of options available, here's a link to one of them that are good for most wheels

A DFGT and Xlerator wheel stand should run you around $200 - you'll obviously need to move the coffee table out of the way to set it up. I store mine in a closet upright when not in use.

I'm sure others will chime in with different options.

That sounds great, Good price. Has anyone had any experience with the DFGT and Xlerator combo?
I think I should mention I have long legs, something to small might not work...

News...
I think I have got a better wheel/stand combo.
DFGT and and a wheel stand pro.

A lot more for the stand than I wanted but after watching the a review of the other stand, I think this one is better for my needs.

back to the DFGT....
I know the pedals are bad so I was wounding if I can upgrade them later?

Are there any other "pit falls" or tricks to the DFGT I might not know?
