Cheap wheels, are they worth it?

I've been looking at some of the cheap wheels (budget wont allow for anything over £30) and can't decide whether they are worth it if there is no force feedback.

Anyone have a cheap wheel they could give me some feedback, or advice?

Thanks.

You could buy the logitech driving force pro, the predecessor of the DFGT. It was originally build for GT4 but works also fine for GT5. I bought it when it was about 150 euros, but I think it's now less than 50 euros. Don't know how much it is in pounds though :)

Hi :) If you could squeeze another tenner into your budget, you could get this...

I have one, and its a very good budget wheel imo. It has force-feedback too 👍

I use a 10 years old wheel. Precisely, this one:

Even though it's very old, it's still vastly better than the DS3.
So, in my opinion, if you have a very tight budget, it might still be worth it, as long as you get a supported force-feedback wheel.

By the way, the wheel above is the PC version of the Logitech wheel made for Gran Turismo 3 (Logitech GT Force):

I don't know if they're still stocking, but I bought a brand new DFGT from Argos for 85 quid last week. Ain't exactly cheap, I know, but if you're thinking of spending 45-50 anyway, it might be worth the stretch, because everywhere else I've looked, this wheel costs 120+.

Of course, it's possible they're running out the stock in readiness for a replacement...
