I'm looking for the cheapest possible PS3 wheel with pedals. I don't want a shifter or a cockpit, just a wheel and pedals, preferably under 50 USD. I know it's going to be hard to find, and I can't find any info here or on Google, so I'd like some help.

I checked ebay but I'm hesitant to buy anything from there. Just me. I may loook into it. Is it officially supported?

I used to have some Pelican one for PS2....Wish it would have worked with my PS3...

Also I'll never use the shifter so I was hoping that would save me a bit of cash.

My local walmart has a 50.usd wheel. Ill try to pop in tomorrow and get the name. Think it began with an H. Looked like utter garbage though. Personally i would keep saving for something atleast as good as a dfgt.

Ot: someone in the wheel forum is selling a cockpit w g27 for a great price.

I've had cheap wheels before and they don't last or aren't fully supported.
the DFGT is a brilliant wheel for the price you can get them for.
a couple of quick mods (pedal spring mod and some granturgismo paddles) makes them very nice to use

I really need to spend money in other places right now so saving over 50 bucks isn't an option at this point. I'm getting a wheel because I've put it off for so long. I want to save up that much and only that much for it, that's all I can afford right now.

I could care less about shifters and the like, I jsut want a dirt cheap wheel that I can use for GT5. If I can get a DFGT under $50 I'll be one happy man.

If anyone can point me to people here selling them or something that would be cool. I'm scanning Ebay right now just for kicks to see if I can find anything dirt cheap.

Also, not sure if I'll like the full 900 degree rotation on most wheels.

I am picking up a CSR and CSR Elite pedals so I will be selling my DFGT. Expected delivery on the CSR is before October 15th so I can make a sale around that time period. Cheapest I will go is $75 plus shipping. Wheel and pedals are still in brand new condition.

Just an option.

Eh 75, I might be able to buy it but I'd like to get it a bit cheaper as I said. Money is tight right now so I need to be careful. I probably shouldn't even be buying one lol

Just let me know if you change your mind. I will be putting it up on eBay in 2-3 weeks for $90-100 plus shipping. The $75 rate is for GTP members.

At a minimum you should be buying at least a Driving Force Pro which is the older version of the DFGT. You should get the DFGT though as it is better and the official GT5 wheel. Don't get anything like the one you linked, keep the money, you will be better off with a controller if you can't afford something like a DFGT at the moment.

Ok I'll do that. I'll just see if I can find a DFP.

You should be able got get a DFP super cheap, as it came out with GT4. I used one from then to when the T500 was released and had hundreds of hours of huge fun over many years. One word of warning, they stopped making them several years ago, so any one you buy will most likely have a lot of mileage on it.

If you can find it - Logitech GT Force is the biggest bang for your buck (it was an offcial GT3 wheel back in 2001).
It's got no shifter and it's got only 200 degrees lock-to-lock but it's reliable, has decent FFB and most importantly - it's supported by every today's game.

On the other hand - I really recommend getting an used DFGT - it's newer and much, much, much easier to find.

I've had shed loads of fun with GT5, Dirt, Dirt 3 etc with a Logitech Driving Force and now a Driving Force EX. They're both only 200 degrees rotation but they're both dirt cheap. I bought both from EBAY (UK), the Driving Force was £6 and the EX was £15. If you just want good cheap fun then I'd highly recommend either (the EX is smoother but the Driving Force has better paddles).

👍
That wheel looks like it's seen some fair share of abusing if you ask me but the offer seems good and realistic.
If the OP's from USA - that is what he should buy. At 65$ he ain't going to find a cheaper DFGT.

Try craigslist like some others said.

I had put my DFGT on craiglist for $55 and no bites, after a few weeks. I dropped it to $50 even, and it is in great shape. I am SURE you can find some that way pretty easy.

My only payment option is PayPal at the time though.

Been scanning Ebay for more. I've got a ton of classic 45's I'm trying to sell for some extra cash towards a wheel...Hopefully things will work out.

Also, if I use my PS2 wheel and buy a PS3 adapter, will the wheel work with GT5?
