I just found this car in my Used Car Dealership:

Toyota Altezza Touring Car

301bhp
1000kgs
1475 miles
FR

This cost me 34,000, I changed the oil and the power rose to 316bhp.

Yes - 34,000 (Thirty four thousand?????). A new EVO 10 costs 42,000.

Other 'touring cars' or racing cars with similiar specifications, or power to weight ratio's I've picked up are:

Mazda Atenza Touring Car - 90,000
EDIT: Lexus IS200 '04 - 90,000
Honda Integra - 150,000
Cusco Impreza - 300,00
Weds Sport IS350 - 500,000
Amemiya RX7 - 500,000

I can't remember how much the BMW 3 series touring car was - anyone know??

A brand new Toyota Prius costs 24.500, just 9,000 less than the Altezza Touring car, put some soft slicks on the Prius, same price, totally different lap time. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that this must be some kind of error??

I'm trying to think of a genuine race car (ready made and raring to go) that even comes close to this price, if anyone knows of such car, please give details..

Thanks
H

I was about to say any RM edition car, but I forgot this beauty.

I bought 2 or 3 of them in my shopping sprees. I loved the car in GT3, and maybe GT4, don't remember if it was on GT4, but definitively on GT3.

Shamefully I won't be giving it much road time, as I like the cockpit view better.

I picked up the Renault Clio RenaultSport Trophy Race Car '00 today on one of my spending sprees. From memory it came it at around 45, 000CR.

3ltr MR layout putting out 296BHP after an oil change and wash. PP value of 481. Only needs a fully custom gear box.

Could it be any more timely with the new seasonal race just coming online. This car has earnt me at least 1.5m already. Sarthe Laps of 4.24.xx at 119, 000 a race 👍

I spotted this ages ago and had all but forgotten about it. Maybe I should give it a run out.

Another performance bargain, although not a race car is the Tommy Kaira ZZII, 550+bhp, 4wd and around 60k. Had my winning streak ruined by one of these at the 'ring last night.

BTW, the bimmer's about a mil. I saw two in the UCD at the same time the other day, 975k & 967k. bought them both, as I'd been searching for one for ages. Got a bit carried away!

Honda S2000LM will run you 125K - by far the cheapest LM in the game.

Something is DEFINITELY wrong, the Toy Altezza Touring Car was in my UCD at ~124,500 cr last night and I popped for it...a metalic gray #40 race car with the GT series logo on the sides...but mine was only 292bhp with 0 miles
