Hi,

I've recently sold my PC and bought a PS2 for the simple reason that PC games on the whole don't work! There's always some messing about with patches and fixes and drivers etc.,

I'm blown away with the PS2 and it capabilities, particularly GT3, and was wondering if anyone knows of any plans by the developers to use the same graphics engine in an F1 or CART title?

Also, are there any 'hidden settings' in the PS2 to tweak it's performance at all?

Thanks

Hi Motorhead, welcome to GTPlanet! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your PS2. :D As far as we know right now, there are no plans by Polyphony Digital to sell or release GT3's engine with any other game. And, the fact that Sony already has F1 games coming out of 989 Studios doesn't help the prospect of Polyphony doing much outside of the GT series.

Also, are there any 'hidden settings' in the PS2 to tweak it's performance at all?
Nope, not unless you're playing a PS1 game. You can enable "Smoothing" (or something like that, I can't remember exactly), which cleans up some of the games from the original system quite a bit.
