I ws doing a B-Spec 24hrs of Le Mans race, that was suppost to finish about 1am EST. Checked it just past 1am and my PS3 had reset and updated GT5. I lost the race. Bobs were using an X2010 that i had just done engine rebuild and chassis work to, it has 5000km. Im my gamefile now the race doesnt have a gold cup or silver or a 12th place. It hasnt been run at all; and that X2010 is in perfect condition, in no need of an oil change or engine rebuilt.
I had a keyboard with the enter key pressed and set to "pace down" for the entire race. I checked the race with just under 2hrs to go and the bobs were about 200laps in he lead.

Just throwing it out as a warning. In case you have a B-spec enduro running, get ready to be dissappointed when you check it.

THAT could be your problem.. since the update prompt could've came up and you would've accepted it because of the keyboard constantly pressing enter

You should have logged off from Psn before you started the endurance, this is covered several times here.
