WARNING
VERY LONG POST AHEAD.

So, this event happened today, in Chelsea, as the name would suggest, and a host of classics from almost every year since the 1920's were to be seen everywhere (it mainly focused on the 60's). It also celebrated the 50th birthday of the Jaguar E-Type and original Mini. This event only actually started last year as well...

Now, I know that you may be thinking "But it's an event! Why isn't this just part of DYSAGT E&S?" Well, as you can see, the following post you're about to see has, as the title suggests, 182 pictures (I don't know how I took that many in such little time ). And that's clearly just gonna clog up the page, so I feel that this would be better in a separate thread. If this isn't worthy of one, mods, please do move to the aforementioned thread. But anyway, if you have a slow connection, expect a very long waiting time, and if you're on a mobile app...you've probably crashed before you even got to read this.

So then, enjoy this tribute to the many cars around the world that have shone into true wonder over the years (or even as soon as they were released). Enjoy.

Also, some pictures are a bit blurry, although these certainly weren't intentional. Enough of them should be OK though. ;)

And also, this isn't even everything that was on display. Just what I found the most interesting. ;)

...Whoo. I think that's quite enough.

I'll just leave off with one quick message: do not, I mean, do not quote the whole post. If you wanna quote about a picture, or a certain number of pictures, just guess which one's the one you're looking for, get rid of every other picture and done. If you don't wanna do that...why not just ask without a quote?

Anyway, hope you enjoyed all these photos, and see you soon.

BIG. Most of the cars looked okay except for the flamed 57 Chevy, what a mostrosity, Also, why no pic of the Facel Vega?

Agreed, that BelAir was just horrible. The white r8 with the matte roof and two tone wheels also looked pretty bad.
The SZ looks so funky. Liked the Carlton a lot.
Thanks for sharing these with us.

Tucker Torpedo . How they got this car to show on an european automotive meeting is beyond me, I thought all of them were in american hands. The XJ13 was there too, looks like whoever organized the event was quite influent. Awesome stuff mate, much appreciated. 👍

I'm not so sure about the SZ, from some angles it looks really cool and from some others is a complete mess.

My dad seemed to like it. He was born in the 50's  I'm not terribly interested in the Facel Vega myself though.

Went through all 180 with the mobil app:D Love the 500 with matching trailer!

That 500 was pretty good I agree

I think what the R8 driver tried was to make it a lookalike of a Spyder  I'd actually forgotten the SZ existed before, I think it looks odd but good (the roof looks really small compared to the 'huge' body surrounding it  The Carlton was good to see as well. Good to see you like these.

That was my dad's favourite  It is certainly very rare though. The XJ13 is a replica, the company even says they make Jag race replicas in their company name

Wowza! Stunning cars there. I think my top 10 favourite motors are all catered for!

I wonder, C-ZETA...were you checking that Alpine A310 for any empty cans of Yebisu? :sly:

Holy 🤬 what an event! So many legendary rides in one place just boggles my mind (54 of those are in GT by my count)..... Nice photography too 👍.

Senna's helmet :(

This is made of pure AWESOMENESS!! :dopey:
The Tucker realy jumped at me... and also Misato's Alpine :sly:
That flaming Chevy was not cool though.. at all :indiff:
I'll try to preserve my 93' Civic so i can take it to a place like this in the far future :embarrassed: (lol)
Great post! 👍

Not sure what's worse on that Chevy, the paint job or those awful rims :ill:

Awesome spots though, loved the Lancia 037 and GT40 road versions, the DB7 Zagato and several old 911s/912s to name but a few.

What's the kinda gold car after the first SZ pic? Iso Grifo?

Some annotations would be nice though perhaps the names of the cars are on your Flickr?
