Ok, I bought a Chevvy Camaro, upgraded it so that the BHP is 541. Only problem is, it can't corner now. it slides off in almost every race and I keep losing because of it. Also, it makes B-Spec impossible for harder races. Anyone got any ideas on what store I should go to, and what parts I should buy to tune this car properly?

Any help would be much appreciated.

two questions:

1)what mods did you buy??

2)did you only increase the power?? did you not tune anything else (suspension, gearbox, LSD, etc.)?? because if you only DID increase the power, then you are really going to have a hard time driving your car.

by the way, are you using the brakes?? because you can't lose in most of the races with that car.., OR are you just relying on speed and not skill??

just asking..,

I have modified pretty much the whole car, but I think I might get rid of the fully customisable sections because basically, I don't know how to use them.

The Camaro has chronic understeer issues most of the time, and it never does wind up cornering as well as a lighter Japanese sportscar.

If you need a good RWD, go for a mildly tuned RX-7 or S2000. They both should handle 350hp or so on stock suspension with S2 tires with ease. 400hp in a 2002 RX-7 Spirit R Type A should be fine for the car, and it will most likely whomp on your Camaro with 540+hp.

See i wouldn't replace the Camaro with another car...i would keep working with it till you learn how to avoid any thing negative.

Are you experiencing understeer (sliding off while braking into the turn) or oversteer (the rear-end gets all squirrely and you slide from the rear? What exactly are you settings, too?

My problem is, that I use the Camaro in B-Spec to make quick cash alot. Any ideas on how to improve cornering?

No idea about settings. And, it's both. Over and Under steer.

You didn't answer some of my questions. What settings are you using? Let's start there. How much power? What races are you trying to accomplish? Are you driving A-spec at all, or just B-spec?

Camaros are tricky in corners because there's alot of overhang front and rear, which translates to lots of cornering issues such as diving and fishtailing being caused as weight gets transferred around. It will never be an "easy" car to drive for these reasons, but you can still work with it and win lots of races.

Just so you know, overhang is the measure of body material from the center of the wheel to the bumper....front overhang and rear overhang are measured individually so that some cars have more front overhang than rear, and some have more rear overhang than front). As i said, Camaros (all of the models in the game from the IROC to the latest models) have lots of overhang.

Anyways, what settings are you using now? And are you using all B-spec? Bob might not be able to handle this car, but this depends on which race(s) you're entering the Camaro into.
