Made in Brazil and quite popular there, it was based on the European Opel Kadett and had a 1.6 litre engine.

I had one of these! My first and only rwd car :-( They are fun despite the low power... Interesting fact is that it was sold almost everywhere in the world as Chevy, Opel, Vauxhall, Holden, Isuzu... Since the Kadett C

If they put this car and the VW Santana they should consider putting a swap with the VW Santana engine, since this is a common engine swap in Brazil (Chevette with VW Santana engine, because the VW Santana was 2.0 and the Chevette was 1.6)
