The 1963 C2 Corvette is in the game already (a base model with the lower-spec engine, 3 speed transmission and drum brakes), but let me make the case for the perfected version, the 1967 Sting Ray.
The 1967 model was the ultimate version of the C2 Corvette, the fastest and the best looking, potentially combining all of the following: (deep breath) independent rear suspension, 4 wheel vented disc brakes, lightweight alloy wheels, a 435 hp 427 cid/7.0L engine, aluminum cylinder heads, fully synchronized 4 speed transmission and a limited slip differential.
