The Chevrolet Corvette C6 was a sports car produced by Chevrolet and succeeded the 2005 C5. It was the first Vette to feature fixed headlights since the C1 and was also the first to feature improvements on the road car based on efforts on the racing version.

The car initally featured an LS2 6.0 V8 producing 400 BHP (the Z06 recieved a 500 BHP 7.0 LS7) while all non-performance models recieved an upgrade to the 6.2 LS3 in 2008, producing 430 BHP.

Designed to slot in between the base C6 and Z06, the Grand Sport was unveiled in 2010 to replace the Z51 Option Code. Improvements over the base Vette include a revised manual transmission, larger sway bars, stiffer springs, revised shocks, Z06 rear spoiler, brake ducts, Z06 brakes, wider tyres and fenders, launch control and the LS3 6.2 V8. Some models also come with stripes on the front left fender.
