I didn't say I didn't like the car. I'm just asking as to why we'd need a car that is the same as a car we already have, bar a few carbon things.

How about the specifications? Maybe it is super duper.

...........It's basically a Z06 Corvette with "Z07" handling package; in other words, it's got dampers/brakes and carbon bits from ZR1 bolted on. But no power upgrades. This was one of many "special" limited-edition 'Vettes that Chevy fobbed off to unsuspecting middle aged men with gold chains around their necks who couldn't handle Z06's punishing ride quality.

The Carbon Z06 is the middleground of the C6 Vette, between the Z06 and ZR1. It has the same engine as the Z06 but has the brakes and carbon fibre body panels as the ZR1. GM say it is around 3 seconds faster around Laguna Seca than a standard Z06

With all the carbon-copies in GT currently, this would be substantially more different from an existing car than many of our duplicates. But making a million clones is something PD has only done with Japanese models so far, so don't hold your breath.
