Chevrolet Corvette (C8) C8.R 2020

After the reveal of the Corvette C8 convertible a couple days ago at a press event in Florida, Chevrolet decided to also throw us a teaser of the Corvette C8.R, the racing version of the mid-engined sports car. This MR beast is powered by a 5.5L NA flat-plane crank V8 making 500 hp and 480 ft-lbs of torque mated to an X-trac 6-spd sequential gearbox, and is set to make its racing debut at the 2020 Rolex 24 at Daytona next January.

Lord knows what the odds of this car coming to the series is but if it were to come to GT Sport, it would settle right at home in Group 3, alongside the other GT3/GTE cars.
