Chevrolet Corvette GTP 1985

The Chevrolet Corvette GTP was a race car which participated in the IMSA GTP Class Championship from 1984 until 199 and was developed in conjunction with Lola Cars International. The Corvette GTP used a 5.7-liter, naturally aspirated V8 and featured bodywork similar to a Corvette C4. From 1958 until 1988, Hendrick Motorsports campaigned the car with GM Goodwrench sponsorship and lead driver David Hobbs. The GTP Celebrated two victories in 1986 at Road Atlanta and Palm beach. After the 1988 season, the funding was cancelled which marked the end of the Corvette GTP.
