Hmm. It's odd that Pd would implement Rm variants of both the C6 Z06 and ZR1, but curiosity finally got the best of me and i finally bought one for 264,000 credits. i looked at the specs in the garage and it turns out that it's actually a full 10 kilograms lighter than the ZR1 version. Not to mention the 580 horses that it churns.
When i first drove it, i noticed the different but better sounding exhaust note. It doesnt sound like a 7.0 liter V8, rather like a 4 or 5 liter. It's actually feels much better to use than the other vette because it's much more controllable and therefore much easier to drive. Not as tough on the tires as its more extreme brother. outside of that the handling is a tad bit easygoing.
The only real downside to the Z06 is that it will not keep up in a straight line with the more successful Gt1 cars like the ford gt lm, but i have a feeling it's not supposed to compete there. I'm just saying you shouldnt expect it too, it's more of an exceedingly affordable gt2 car.
So do you think it's worth not lowering your hp on your ZR1 rm to buy this car?
