INTRO:
Hosting a fun TEAM based racing event. Race will be made up of 3 TEAMS with 2 CLASSES and 4 drivers per team. Each team consists of 2 Corvette RM cars and 2 Camaro RM cars per team. Teams can help their group out with Tuning/Drafting/Pitting strategies. Points will be based on each class from 1-6 positions. This is a race where battling in the front of the pack or even in the back of the pack is important to YOUR team. Each GAINED position will help your team in points for the WIN. Making racing intense the whole race! RED, YELLOW, and GREEN will be the team colors/names. With 4 players per team color. Don't worry if you don't have teammates. If need be, I'll randomly place you in teams and you can work from there! What better way to end your GT5 run?!
Race will be held in "My Lounge"
Qualifying will take place 15 before START time

Fully tuneable Corvette & Camaro BUT only up to their own set PP

Class A Corvette scored 1-6 in position
Class B Camaro scored 1-6 in position
SETTINGS
ALL driving aids off EXCEPT ABS1 & Driving line
TIRES- Racing Hards
TIRE WEAR- ON < set to FAST
GRIP- Real
DAMAGE- Light
SLIPSTREAM- Weak
MICS- ON BUT limit use for racing only (no off track talking!)
Examples: telling you teammate to pit or drivers where you are on track Etc.
Basic Rules
Keep racing CLEAN as possible
BRAKE when needed!!
Keep 2 tires on track at ALL times (unless of some type of accident)
Cautious on ENTERING/EXITING pits
Bumping will happen
-Bump drafting : IS NOT allowed for 1st and 2nd place drivers... but IS allowed for the rest of the field to catch up. 👍
-Pitting-
2 pit stops may be needed
Watch speeds entering the pits
-NO ramming into someone while headed to pits
Exiting Pits
-Keep left until you gain up to speed
--Watch for oncoming drivers
CAUTIONS
(looking into getting a pace car driver)
Cautions will only be used if:
1. Some type of LAG surge/spike involving 2 or more cars to crash.
2. Having a 2 or more cars involved in a crash.
:: OWN TEAMS CRASHING purposely to slow down field is PROHIBITED and will be reviewed for (-) minus points::

CAUTIONS -when cautions are announced, field races to the START/FINISH line!!!! Pitting is allowed when or during Cautions....you can lose your postion here. Then drivers will slow down to about 75mph and line up single file until Green!!
If ANY of these TWO occur, I will SAY/TYPE OUT CAUTION on screen.
And we will do 1 FULL LAP at about 75mph (single file)
I will type in GREEN on the back straightway (ready for the next lap)
ACCELERATE when passing pit line entrance! (but cannot pass the car in front of you until START/FINISH LINE)
CAUTIONS WILL NOT come out AFTER LAP 40!!
WE never needed to use cautions in the past events.
