Choice of colorations

Just a quick question as to whether you paint your cars based on what actually looks GOOD on the individual car, or if you paint your cars a specific favorite color, not taking into account how hideous the end result may (or may not) be?
 
I paint all my cars differently, to provide a bit of variation to my garage. Alot of cars stay stock colour such as the XJ13 cus' it just dont look right any other way :P

However, the league im in requires a team livery so most of my RM cars are Matte Gray with Lime rims and carbon hood. Sleek colourscheme similar to the monster energy livery..

How about you? :]

I will buy multiples of the same car just so that I may paint the car in other cars that I think look good on it. But each person is different, and people have different tastes. What I may find beautiful others may find hideous.
 
Spending 40 mil to paint one of my miatas. Solely for the extravagance. Ordinarily I paint my cars in themes though. If I find a color that I really like I always put it on a miata actually...
 
I use lime green (Honda S2000 UCD) as my ''team color'' even my driver has a lime green helmet.

At some point i started to put silver chrome on every car in my garage that was able to be painted. Somehow I became OCD with it, but know everyone I race with knows which car I am.

which is now matte white with gold chrome bbs LM-R :bowdown:
 
For me it depends on the car. Colour massively changes the perception of shape (imo).
