Hi all,

I'll immediately come to the point..

To finish my rig, which exists of a t300 and th8a-shifter mounted on a playseat, i want/need new pedals so i can finally start using my h-shifter and get used to driving with clutch when using the proper cars..
Bear in mind, i only race on pc (raceroom and assettocorsa)

So which pedals should be the best, and which pedals are the best, when comparing the recently started t3pa-pro pedals and the fanatec csr elites?

I ask this cause i cant get my mind made up :)

Thanks for the info!

Jona

From what I understand, the T3PA Pro's are essentially the T500 pedals.
In general I've seen people say the CSR Elite pedals are better than the stock T500 pedals. However I think people who have done the Basher mod for their T500 pedals say its either close to or better than the CSR E's?

Probably you could get either one and be just as satisfied as if you had the other, maybe just let fate decide and get whichever one is currently in stock and ready to ship?

From what I've read about both, they sound very close. I would go for which ever was cheaper, but if you really want a load cell brake, you'll have to factor a mod for the t3pa pro into the price comparison.

The T3PA-Pros come with a conical rubber optional component to give progressive braking feel, no real need for the Basher mod as a result.

To me the differences are two-fold:
1. The clutch and accelerator are lighter and have shorter throw on the Thrustmaster pedals.
2. The trouble with a load cell pedal set is that you can't remove the load cell. If you find you don't like the feel of it, you're still stuck with it.

Now most guys seem to love a good load cell, so (1) is the most important differentiator. Personally I actually prefer braking feel of my T500 pedals to my Fanatec Clubsport v1 pedals, but I'm probably just strange. (I do like the longer throw of the accelerator and clutch, but the brake feel is most important overall)

Thanks for the quick responses! They don't make it easier though.. ;)

On my current t300 pedals i have the basher-mod (sthing alike, see picture) installed and it really is a looooot better then stock.. So i probably already know how the t3pa-pro's will feel. It seems as if it is just a personal feel and there isn't one better than the other once adapted to it..

@skazz you can shorten those with elites no?!
