The suggestion is to let the player to choose a community-made livery to each of the AI cars (in the race menu can be added an option like "Change AI Livery", then you choose an AI car in the grid, search a livery, download it to the game, apply it and that AI car will be racing with your downloaded livery)
i.e.
You have a Toyota TS050 Hybrid 2016 in the grid, but you want it to look like a GT-ONE, then follow the above steps and voilà! The AI Toyota TS050 now have a GT-ONE paint instead of its regular Toyota Gazoo Racing livery!
You can do this in all AI cars, so in case of two equal cars on the grid, you can download two different liveries to differentiate them.
