What is everyone doing for Christmas and/or New Year? Visiting family, going to mates houses, gettting really drunk?

I'm not doing anything special for Xmas but me and some friends are heading off up to a mates house up north. We're going to convoy up there and give the motors a bit of a spin along some nice roads.
The aforementioned mate is holding a pretty big party at his parents bach and most of the ex-7th form is turning up. And just lax on the beach, have a BBQ and get drunk. Then let off a whole lot of fireworks too, to welcome in the new year.

Going somewhere I won't remember the day after. I'm going to the Comedy store for new years.

Christmas: Have with the family, I always do and always will. Plus my Dad cooks a mean roast! 👍

New Years: I'm really not sure yet, I could either have a party round my pals or spend it with family and neighbours of which I don't know will be since I'm moving later today. *Gulp*

Either way. I'm gonna be drunk, I'll assure you of that
. ;)

You can if you want, your old enough. I need to calm my drinking down, I've started drinking more, I only noticed cos I'm spending more and the prices haven't gone up.

I've got whatever happens over christmas, then the Comedy store for new years, then the weekend after a mates birthday then I'm going dahn London the weekend after.

:D As long as I keep it private and not go out in the public drunk...

You can drink in a pub at 16, you can't order but as long as your with a parent or gaurdian you can legally drink alcahol in a pub.

I'm not 100% sure what were doing for christmas, probably start the day at my parents house, or we might go to mansfield together, me Charlotte and the parents to see the other half of the family and have a pub meal or a meal at my uncles ouse (no thats not a typo).

Oh right, cool cheers 👍, prob won't do that however, the chances of me getting started on would prob double that of just being around a pals house.

Stupid chavs..

Drink till it hurts like 8 b*tches on a b*tch boat.

Jeebus, people, it’s just sugar that bacteria couldn’t fully digest. Kinda like when a mommy bird regurgitates partially digested food to feed its babies.

Anyway, I’m not doing much at all for winter break. We’re going to my aunt’s on Christmas (she lives like 30 miles away, so it’s not much of a trek), then I get my wisdom teeth pulled out on January 5th. I’m not sure what I’m going to do during the other 22 days, except work on my AP Gov assignment.

:D

Probably not too much around these parts; hang with friends and drink a lot of egg nog. Good times!

Christmas: Stay with family, stay up really late and sleep for the whole day after.
New Years: Same thing.

Well, I will have to work on at least one of the two aforementioned. Hopefully not on Christmas. I'll probly just make one of the other guys work. (I love being a supavisa!)

No alcohol for me tho. Not a fan of the side effects. Wake up late, eat like a horse, sleep like the dead, and work.

Oh, well. It's better than nothing.

Christmas, watch and rejoice as my 5 year old brother opens presents, family coming down and eating, no alcohol because my dad cant drink while hes on his knee drugs:(

New year, wether dads drinking or not i am, hwo knows actually. Probably play GT4 or something.

Christmas: Spend time with family as usual. It will be a good time.

New Years: Go to my friend's house. Not sure yet whether it will be a small get together, or if a party will happen. Either way, there will be some drinking at midnight.

Going down to the South Island to see the family for Christmas. Fly out on Wednesday and back between Christmas and New Years. Always a big event at the Aunties house, so that'll be fun and good to see all the relations again. :nervous:

For New Years it's round to a mates place for BBQ and drinks. Nothin' too much this year though, might be time to have a New Years I can actually remember I think.

The usual Christmas Day visiting various sets of parents (one less this year :( ) meaning no drinks for me because i'll be driving 👎

Boxing Day: at the mother-in-laws - meaning plenty of drinking! 👍

Between Xmas & New Year: Eurostar to Brugge = Beer, chocolate, ice skating in the town square, beer, nice hotel: http://www.hotels-belgium.com/brugge/navarra.htm , chocolate.... did i mention beer?

New Years: travelling back on New Years eve, so probably have a quite one at home 👍

Parents, then Grandma's, then Girlfriends parents, then Girlfriends Grandma's. Christmas is going to be one busy day, hopefully I don't pass out half way through, lol.

Not sure about New Years, hopefully it doesn't turn into the 4 day trip it was last year.

P.S. Drugs are bad.

At home on Christmas day, wife's parents coming to us. Then off to see my parents. Then back to Edinburgh to host a party, then a quiet New Year's Eve. We pretty much hate mandated partying in our house, which is why we're having a house party on 29th, then skipping 31st.

Christmas = work

New Years = work

Just like I have for year upon year. At least it's almost time for Summernats :) Bring on the car festival!

I see a common theme here of getting drunk. Especially among the British.....Hmmm.

Yea dude! It's the 4 and Rotary nats soon!

It's been decided I'm spendnig new years eve in th Red Lion pub with a few mates and the comedy store the weekend after. I'm going over to Mansfield for Christmas where most of the family is.

Xmas: Open some presents, have a few drinks, yada yada

New year: Either having a party with some mates and get drunk, or stay at home. Depending apon whether we organise it or not.

Christmas: Start work at 7am, so I ruin everybodies day by my mother not allowing them to open their presents until I get back, muahahha.

What's worse I have to start work on New Years Day at 7am too, it's just cruel! I'll probably do an all nighter, leave for work at 6:30am, and die when I finish at 5pm....I can't sleep New Years Eve either, as I'm working then too!

Help!

Xmas: Staying home, goign snowboarding with friends from school 2 days later, getting wasted in a condo in lake geneva, WI, yadda yadda yadda....

Hmm.... I dunno.

XMAS: The usual.... my dad and I are going to put my parts that I bought on. I already put the tires on... they rock. So yeah, chainguide, cassette, chain and chainring. That's on Eve. Then on Sunday everyone comes to our house because it's biggest. My cousin and I have a lil tradition basically where we ride after dinner on all holidays where the family meets. That's why I am putting my stuff on, on Christmas Eve. Oh, the bashguard is like 3/4" thick and made of Makrolon plastic which is a lot like Plexiglas... or is.
