what's this kick on chuck norris lately? maybe it's just me but ive been seeing a lot of references to chuck norris. has anyone else noticed this? he hasnt come out with anything since walker texas ranger, yet suddenly he seems popular. is it just one of those things that most people wouldnt consider popular so people pick it up trying to be "different." You know like those people who are 15 years too old for sesame street and probably dont watch it but still wear elmo shirts.
 
Chuck Norris is the current "all your base are belong to us". He's just kind of a touchstone for internet users to gather around.
 
He's an internet fad, and is already starting to reach those real life communites while the Internet forums grow tired.
 
But Jack is only a character. Chuck Norris is REAL!


And I don't really know why everyone started picking on Mr. Norris. THe hairy chest, perhaps? I guess he just kicked so much ass in the show tht it's assumed he's invincable, thereby creating the first Chuck Norris joke.
 
That fad is old. Now it's all about Bill Cosby.

Ha. The best is how Chuck pretty much does the same 3-5 moves in every episode.

Chuck Norris got killed by Bruce Lee, I'll refrain from going into it anymore in case I post a spoiler about 24 since I am aware that some people may be in the process of watching older seasons for their first time.
 
That's ok by me, I actually don't care much for 24, and I loathe American Idol, so spoils shmoils. I'd probably not pay attention if you or anyone else did that.

Chuck Norris got popular on the net thanks to Conan O' Brian. He once showed clips of Chuck as Walker Texas Ranger on his show.
 
So what's the new fad? I don't think Cosby is it. There has to be a fad, I can't imagine an internet with no common thing to crack jokes about.
 
meh i've always been a big fan of chuck norris. :p even before the internet fad orly owl still isnt old yet.
 
my brother has been DJing for years and about 4-5 years ago he dubbed himself 'DJChuckNorris'. Ya, he was ahead of his time. (both Chuck and my bro.)

Chuck Norris only faked death, and afterward killed the producer for killing him in the script. Only Chck Norris can hurt Chuck Norris.
