In Paris Motor Show 2010, DS3 WRC was unveiled and successor of C4 WRC because of WRC's new rules: The WRC cars had to put the engine of 1.6L with 300 HP. The base model is 3-Door Hatchback DS3 WRC. It became a monster.
It made its debut in Rally Sweden 2011 with a 6th place by Sébastien Loeb and 4th place by Ogier. It won the next round of Mexico, like the Portugal, Jordan, Argentina, Greece, Finland and Germany. At ADAC Deutschland, Loeb finished 10th place while Ogier finished 11th. It finished with victories at France and Spain. In UK, the title was decided between Loeb and Hirvonen (Fiesta WRC). Loeb retired due an accident in road section however, Hirvonen also retired after hitting a tree. With the retire of Hirvonen, it was given 8th driver's title to Loeb. Ogier finished 3rd overall.

In next year, Loeb won the 9th and last title for Citroen with 9 victories. Unfortunately, in next year, Citroen felt behind with a retirement of Loeb in rallies and it became a disaster: Hirvonen and Sordo finished 4th and 5th respectivetly and Loeb finished 8th. Citroen lost the title for Volkswagen which an german make made history with Ogier clinching the driver's title for very first time.
