Right, so I just purchased the C4 Sport Coupé in P. Got in it, and right away noticed an error. The dash-top speedometre reads off in km/h, no matter what units you have it set for. Also, that steering wheel is just trippy, haha.

Well, it's just truly an awful car. Haven't bought it, never will.
Ofcourse that's just my opinion. :)

All of the in car speedometers read the measurement that the manufacturer's country uses, irrespective of the unit you have it set to. Citroen are French and they use km/h.

Actually every car in Prologue is reading at km/h. on the Dashboard. Have a look for yourself.....

I'd have to say, that's quite sad. :-\

Digital speedometres really should be in whatever unit you're currently racing with. If real cars can freely switch between units, so should they.

The Gran Turismo 350Z has both, 1 analog with km/h, 1 analog with mp/h (which ends too early XD) and 1 digital km/h iirc.
The Z06 has its HUD speedometer in mph but the dashboard one has both i think, not sure about that.

I like the C4 by the way, i think its fun to drive and i like the look. :D

i feel that way about the ferrari california, I think it looks hideous but then again i loathe convertibles as a whole

From what i've seen yesh lol it's quite odd that PD didnt alter the cars speedo's for Europe.... Have a look at the Corvette Z06

The little HUD in the Z06 is in mp/h for me. And I could've sworn that the Ford GT's speedo was in mp/h, but I could be wrong there.

Yeah. At first I actually thought Cali was very nice, but not so sure anymore. Nevertheless.. Still Cali is about fivemilliontwohoundredtwentysixthousandfourhoundredeightyfive times better looking than the C4.

The only thing i really think is stupid, is that the steering wheel is on the right side.
Its also like that in the Focus, which is just as strange, because in Germany & France, the wheel is usually on the left side. 8)

Sorry if this was already discussed somewhere here.

The Focus is made in Britain.

The Mk1 was produced in (according to Wikipedia):
The Mark 1 Focus was produced in factories in: Saarlouis, Germany; Valencia, Spain; Santa Rosa, Philippines; Pacheco, Argentina; Chungli, Taiwan; Chongqing, China and Vsevolozhsk, Russia.
And Fords HQ in Wurope is in Cologne (EDIT: As far as i know, i might get confused with Toyota here).

And again Wikipedia:
The Focus Mk 2 is also built in South Africa for export to Australia and New Zealand. However shortly after launch, Ford New Zealand surrendered its supply to satisfy Australia's high demand, and now receives vehicles from the German factory in Saarlouis.

So im not 100% sure about that.

I wouldn't believe anything wikipedia says. Another possibility is that PD modeled the C4 based on the car they tested. (which could possibly be a right hand drive JDM market C4).
