okay okay, i know this is a popular subject lately....

but did you know that the real life Xsara rally car is actually 4WD not FWD..(as per GT3)? well the WRC new ones are anyway and also the one in WRC game also is 4WD...

okay, i am the king of useless info....so i'll go home now and have a wee lie down....

The Xsara in GT3 is a previous version, back when Citroen was running in the 2wd class. Notice it doesn't even have the same front end as the current car.

The boy PunkRock is correct. The Xsara in the game was the one Citroen used to fire Phillipe Bugalski and Sebastien Loeb off onto the tarmac events. It was a different class car than the WRCs - nearly as powerful but FF and lighter. On the tarmac events (like Tour de Corse) the car would walk away with the rally, but couldn't win driver's or manufacturer's points as it wasn't a WRC.

The current Citroen Xsara WRC IS a full WRC, driven by Loeb (still), with Colin McRae and Carlos Sainz. It is the same weight and power (roughly) as the other WRCs and 4WD too. This year is the first year it has run. GT3 came out in October 2001... :D

Yeh, before Citroen also only did 7 rallies out of the 14 or so ones in the WRC, and now they're doing the full ones. :)

Bah, Subaru haven't had any luck so far...
