At a glance mistakable for a Lamborghini Diablo (after all, its design was originally for it and its engines were two Lamborghini engines bolted), the Cizeta V16T was the collaboration of Claudio Zampolli and Giorgio Moroder to create their own bespoke supercar. Not only it was member of the 15th Anniversary cars line-up in GT6, it was also part of #GT_Memories content on Gran Turismo's social media.

Even in the world of the supercars, there is no other car maker as unique as Cizeta. Starting in the 1980s, musician Giorgio Moroder, along with Claudio Zampolli, a wealthy exotic car dealer in America, began work on a project that focused on "making a never-before-seen supercar." The name Cizeta was formed from the initials of Zampolli.
The man slated to design the car was Marcello Gandini, who also penned the Lamborghini Countach and Lancia Stratos. The car drew gasps when it was introduced in 1988. The Cizeta V16T's name is based on its engine, a 16-cylinder V-shaped powerplant that was horizontally mounted behind the cockpit. The engine was actually two Lamborghini Uracco V8s coupled together, combined yielding a displacement of 6.0 liters, producing 560 HP. This allowed the wedge-shaped car to reach a top speed of 203 mph, thanks to its exceptional aerodynamic shape and its low curb weight. It was reputed to reach 60 mph in about 4 seconds, while still providing its occupant with a high level of luxury.
The car didn't fare well at the dealerships, with only a handful of them being sold. Part of the problem was its steep $300,000 price tag. The company closed its doors in 1995, but they still produced the Cizeta on demand.
