Cizeta V16T '94. Dealer did not disclose 5,000 kms on the clock

Is it too much to expect that if I go to a dealership and buy a car, that it will be in "new"condition?

I got this Cizeta home, and the Stats say "Distance Driven" is 0.0 miles.

However, when I poke my camera through the window and look at the speedo, the odometer says 5,213 kms. I can see the same in cockpit view.

Anybody know what's going on? I realize that this is a 20 year old car, but I was not shopping in any used car lot, and they said nothing about the mileage.

Do I have a case? Should I sue the dealer? This is 'Murica, after all.

Has anyone else has had the same experience with this Cizeta dealership? Maybe we could do a class action suit.

This Cizeta don't have anything working only RPM and Speedo at all since i drove it.

You are right. They've disconnected the odometer. Who knows how long ago they did that.

Don't worry about many cars which don't have working odometer, turbo gauge, fuel gauge, and other gauges you notice during drive. You did read the OP's list of cars before?
Edit: BTW, PD were little rush to model few cars like Diablo GT '00 don't have odometer on since the car was in museum for show or Huayra share same fate as Cizeta.

You've every right to be peeved. From a main dealership too. Is there not some trading standards body you could complain to, before you start breaking knees?

What, like the Butter Bizniss Burrow, Stirling?

If we can't trust a main dealership, who can we trust?

At least in GT5 we had "Justin" selling old cars and being honest about how many Ks were on the clock. Granted, the oil came out black as tar, but "Justin" was right out in the open. Though I never believed that was his real name. Did you?
